Bajrangi Bhaijaan mints Rs. 300 crores in India

Minting Rs.100 crores at the box was a trend long back. Now the standard measure of a hit film in Bollywood has been raised to Rs. 300 crores. With no surprise, Slaman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan has put aside all the previous records by collecting Rs. 300 crores at the domestic box office alone. Indeed it has been proved once again that Salman Khan is the topmost actor of the Bollywood.

“BB crosses 300 crore In India. Wednesday collection Rs 2.45 crore (outside India)”, read a statement from Eros International. Films trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter, “#BajrangiBhaijaan crosses 300 cr in India... 2nd film to achieve the ENVIABLE status, after #PK... 2nd HIGHEST grosser ever. Hindi films”.

The film smashed all the records at the box office from Day 1. In its first weekend itself, the film minted more than Rs. 100 crores net. The film remained unaffected from the S. S. Rajamouli’s master piece, Baahubali. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is also referred as one of the best  film of Salman’s career.
