Bank Chor motion poster: Riteish Deshmukh is a quirky baba

The first motion poster of Bank Chor of Y Films, the youth wing of Yash Raj Films, was revealed on Friday.

Starring Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Anand Oberoi and Rhea Chakraborty, the film is about three idiots trying to rob a bank.

The film will be released a film simultaneously in 16D besides Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality formats, where the viewer will also be a part of the film, instead of just watching it.

Bank Chor aims to “activate all senses for a viewer in terms of touch, sight, hearing, smell, taste and also thought, imagination & feeling” with the 16D technology.

Riteish Deshmukh said he is thrilled to be part of the technological innovation.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of this first ever technological innovation in the Indian Film Industry. 3D is so last season, when you have 16D! I’m certain Bank Chor will steal a lot of hearts but since you can’t take chances, I’m also keeping a 16-day fast and chanting Om Y-Films O Namah 16 times a day… am told it really works!” he said in a press statement.

Directed by Bumpy and produced by Ashish Patil, Bank Chor is a fun comic thriller. Shri Sriram, Superbia (Gourov Dasgupta, Roshin Balu & Shaan), Kailash Kher, Rochak Kohli, Baba Sehgal and Shameer Tandon are part of the music team for the film.

Bank Chor is slated to release worldwide on June 16.
