Barcelona holiday with hubby Rohit Roy still on Manasi Joshi Roy's mind

Actor Manasi Joshi Roy just got back from Barcelona, Spain, where she was holidaying with husband, Rohit Roy. Coming back from a good break, Manasi reminisces, “We landed in Barcelona a day before Rohit’s birthday (April 5) and began the celebrations with a nice stroll down Los Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter. On his birthday, we had a nice champagne breakfast from the hotel that overlooked the beautiful city of Barcelona.”

The self-confessed travel junkie, who remembers her childhood fascination to travel the world, says, “As a kid, while reading Enid Blyton stories, I used to travel to the English countryside in my dreams. After growing up, every novel that I read, which is placed in a foreign locale, inspires me to travel.”

Manasi, who recently made a comeback to television after 12 years, says that she is happy to have chosen a profession that requires her to travel.“From New York to Kanpur, I’m happy that my work lets me see new places, explore new cultures, new cuisines and a new way of life. I believe, travel opens your horizons like no other activity can.”

Along with travelling, Manasi also enjoys blogging and watching international TV shows. “I’m not much into watching Indian TV. I enjoy international shows more. Currently, I am hooked to How to Get Away with Murder and The Good Wife. I identify more with such shows,” she says.
