Barfi!s song lost?

If reports are to be believed then critically-acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Basu has recently lost his phone which contained the rough cut of a song from his upcoming release Barfi!. Now Basu needs an entirely new replacement song for the scene which is to be picturised on lead star Ranbir Kapoor. According to a source, Anurag was to use that song in a crucial scene in the background for Ranbir. In fact, work was complete on the song, but then he lost the phone that had the scratch and he was unwilling to take the risk of the song being leaked, so instead of using the song, he asked Pritam to come up with a new song completely and hes working on it. The source added, Luckily, considering Ranbir plays a deaf and mute character, theres no lip sync to be done and almost all of the songs are in the background. So only the tracks need to be switched, but no portions will be re-shot. The lost song will not be included even in the music album of the film as Anurag didnt want to take any chance.
