Benny Dayal Gets Married With Catherine Thangam

Singer Benny Dayal has tied the knot with his girlfriend Catherine Thangam. The 32 year old singer’s marriage has been confirmed by a number of Dayal’s friends including Vishal Dadlani. Vishal posted a picture on Twitter from the wedding venue with both the bride and the groom.

Both Benny and Catherine married in Hindu and Christian ceremonies on Sunday. According to a source, their wedding reception will be held- in Kerela soon. Both are said to have met through a common friend. Catherine is based in New York and is fully trained in classical dancing.

Benny Dayal came to fame with ‘Pappu can’t dance saala’ song from the film ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’. He later gave his voice for many superhit songs like ‘Kaise Mujhe’, ‘Tarkeebein’, ‘Daaru Desi’, ‘Bang Bang’ and many more. Catherine did a cameo role in a 2014 online short film 100 – The Tribute, a film paying respect to the 100 years of Hindi cinema and worked as a dancer in ‘English Vinglish’.
