Katrina And I Will Return For A Sequel: Ranbir Kapoor On Jagga Jasoos

Jagga Jasoos is Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s much awaited movie. Not only because it is releasing after being delayed for years, but also because it is Ranbir Kapoor’s first production venture. Yes, the project will be bankrolled by Ranbir along with Anuarag Basu. The release of the flick was uncertain as its lead couple broke up in between of the film. However, being a thorough professional, both the actors buried their hatchet and completed the film.

The actors are now friendly and, reportedly, will come together for the film’s sequel too. The Barfi! actor said, “Beyond Jagga, of course me and Katrina will stay in touch. But going back to the film, as Shruti and Jagga, we have stayed with them for three and a half years. So, if these characters are loved and people really take to this character, then we will miss them more and will come back with a sequel as we are trying to make this as a franchise and hopefully we will receive that kind of love and acceptance for us to take this forward”.

The piece of news will surely be a thing to rejoice for all the fans who want the ex-couple on-screen. Helmed by Anurag Basu, the film is scheduled for a release on July 14. The flick tells the story of a teenage detective in search of his missing father.
