    Bhootnath Returns dragged to court

    An upcoming horror-comedy flick Bhootnath Returns has been brought to the court by a Hindi writer, just before its release claiming that the flick is based on one of his literary works. The Delhi High Court has agreed to hear the plea and the same will take place today by a bench headed by Chief Justice B D Ahmed and Justice Siddharth Mridul.

    A senior advocate Pratibha Maninder Singh threw light on the same informing, “The single judge bench has issued the notice on my petition.” He supplemented that the release of the movie can cause severe damage to the writer. Bhootnath Returns directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is a sequel of 2008 movie Bhoothnath. Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Renu Ravi Chopra are financing the project featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Anurag Kashyap and Usha Jadhav in the lead. The project is scheduled for April 11 release.
