Bhumi Pednekar Roped In For Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ Starring Akshay Kumar

Quite a while ago, it was reported that Akshay Kumar will reunite with director Neeraj Pandey after contributing commercially successful flicks ‘Special 26’, ‘Baby’ and ‘Rustom’ to Hindi cinema. Though, their much anticipated project ‘Crack’ has gained much publicity, little has been written about ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’. According to recent tidings tied to the movie, Dum Laga Ke Haisha actress Bhumi Pednekar has been roped in to play the female lead in the flick.

During a recent press interaction, Neeraj revealed, “I am looking at Naam Shabana, Crack and Toilet : Ek Prem Katha. Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar have been finalized for the film Toilet : Ek Prem Katha". The movie is expected to be packed with satires and comic elements.

Let’s wait to see what magic Akshay and Bhumi would create on screens. On a related note, the flick is likely to hit floors in December this year. Based on PM Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat campaign, the movie will reportedly be produced by Neeraj, Vikram Malhotra and Shital Bhatia.
