New Delhi -- Legendary superstar Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice to the iconic character of Bheeshma Pitamah in producer Jayantilal Gadas 50-crore animation film Mahabharat. The Hindi film, produced by PEN India, has 15 major Bollywood stars voices. Each character in the epic has been created to look like the actor dubbing for it. "Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice to the role of Bheeshma Pitamah in our animated Mahabharat, Gada said. He added, Mr Bachchan finished the entire recording in one hour, which was very shocking for us. He has such a command over the language that he even corrected minor grammatical mistakes in the dialogues. There are 15 major Bollywood stars involved with the project. Each character has been made to look like the actor dubbing for it," the producer told PTI. Bachchan, who is well-known for deep baritone voice, did not charge for the recording. The film, which has Sunny Deol in the role of Bheem, is scheduled to release in October.
