B.O. Update: Baby starts solid, Dolly Ki Doli slow

The biggest of the filmy Fridays this year opened to a diverse piece of box office response. While the much awaited Akshay Kumar starrer Baby saw an encouraging start, Sonam Kapoor’s Dolly Ki Doli may have to make a mark before coming into form.

Baby being the obvious first choice of the viewers took off a very positive start in both the multiplexes and single screens. The Sonam Kapoor starrer however will bank on the word of mouth and may see a jump in the evening and night shows. While Baby has mostly generated positive reviews from the critics, Dolly Ki Doli has been greeted with mixed reviews. Both being in the genre of entertainment will bank heavily on word of mouth.
