    New Delhi - Noted Marathi director Pramod Joshi, who is debuting in the Hindi film industry with Chhodo Kal Ki Baatein, says regional cinema has come of age and now they can successfully compete with Bollywood. The filmmaker said, "Regional cinema has grown a lot. The ethos and presentation of regional cinema has changed in terms of production, designs, budget and other technicalities. It is slowly coming at par with Hindi cinema". He said, "I like the combination of bilingual film because of just one reason - regional cinema is always content oriented, while Hindi cinema is all about presentation and package. Describing about his forthcoming film, which is releasing in Hindi and Marathi languages on April 12, Joshi said, since Chhodo Kal is a bilingual, it has got the design of Hindi cinema and content of regional cinema. He added, The film tells the tale of a successful IT professional (Sachin Khedekar). He comes across a blind man (Anupam Kher), who makes him understand the importance of life.
