Bombairiya Stars Talk Bombairiya

Pia Sukanya’s directorial debut Bombairiya is like a tribute to Mumbai and focuses on average characters living in the city, living their lives, tackling their problems. The movie has been shot in various parts of the city. The cast includes Radhika Apte, Akshay Oberoi, Siddhant Kapoor and Akshat Verma.

The team recently spoke about the film with the director saying, “The way their stories interweave makes the movie interesting”. Radhika Apte shared some details about her character and said, “I ensure that bad stuff doesn't make news. But the movie focusses on the worst day of her career as she has to battle personal and professional problems. When her cell phone gets flicked, her tendency to lie draws her into a much bigger story where the lives of several people are at stake. I identify with Meghna's ability to cope with chaos”.

Akshay Oberoi plays the role of an IT professional and stated, “It would be unfair to describe him as a mamma's boy. He is a positive and family-oriented guy. His idealism tends to make matters worse for Meghna whom he is trying to help in spite of her rebuffing him. He has to endure both physical and mental agony for her”. Siddhanth Kapoor plays a mysterious character who delivers parcels from one place to the other.
