Like the all-inclusive controversial row hovering around the release of Udta Punjab wasn’t enough, there’s fresh trouble coming along the way for Anurag Kashyap and company. According to various anonymous sources, Udta Punjab has been leaked four days before its release. Yes, if sources are to go by, an uncensored version of the Abhishek Chaubey directorial has already been grabbed by a section of audience.

If at all the word spreads, it’s only going to land more trouble for Phantom Movies and Balaji Motion Pictures. While the makers were rejoicing by the extremely encouraging verdict that went in film’s favor, it may now hamper further prospects of film’s box office. However, no official word has yet been given out by film’s producers who have perhaps not hit the panic button as yet.

The Shahid Kapoor-Alia Bhatt-Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh starrer had uncertainty going around its release, but it had made its way clear to come out this Friday. If at all the film deserved anything having gotten through such a rough controversial patch, was a smooth release cashing in on the generous publicity it had garnered all the way.
