Cabaret: woman centric musical, states producer Bhushan Kumar

Bhushan Kumar’s Cabaret captures the struggle of a Cabaret dancer. It dealswith a passionate relationship shared between an honest cop and a cabaret dancer. The film which is said to be a woman centric musical will be extensively shot in Mauritius and South Africa.

When asked about the plotline, producer Bhushan Kumar revealed that it is a woman centric film and shows the rise of a Cabaret dancer. He further stated that the music will not only focus on 'cabaret' but will also have romantic tracks in it. All the characters will be seen portraying intense roles since the film is based on real life incidents.

Directed by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi and co-produced by Pooja Bhatt, the film also has Gulshan Devaiah in a pivotal role. Scheduled to release by the end of 2015, the film also marks cricketer Sreesanth debut in Bollywood.
