Calvin Harris announces date for his upcoming star-studded album

The 33 -year old record producer, DJ and songwriter Calvin Harris will release his new album this year on June 30. He uploaded a teaser of his new album on his Instagram account and he took to social media on Tuesday afternoon to make the announcement. Fellow musicians such as Big Sean, Nicki Minaj and Snoop Dogg are set to appear. Calvin will also be collaborating with artists such as Ariana Grande and Katy Perry.

Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 is going to be his first full-length album since his last album, Motion, which as released in 2014. Fans are surprised that he is going to collaborate with Kate Perry. Most fans are speculating that he is working with Kate Perry to throw shade at Taylor Swift, whom Calvin dated and she also doesn’t gel with Perry.
