Censor board passes Jism 2 with 'A' certificate

Censor board passes Jism 2 with 'A' certificate

In a big relief to the actor filmmaker Pooja Bhatt, her erotic thriller Jism 2, which was first returned by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) without certification, has been finally passed with an A-certificate. The censor board first returned the debut film of Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone, saying it is way too explicit and asked the director to cut the length of the love-making scenes to dilute its effect. However, the board certified the film later in the evening after the filmmaker reportedly followed its order. On the other hand, Pooja claimed that cuts were only made upon her discretion". "'A' certificate received for Jism 2. August 3 here we come! India just got itself an erotic thriller that truly reflects the times," she tweeted. She added, "Let me also clarify to all my 'well-wishers' that Jism 2 has not been affected in the least by the cuts I made 'upon my own discretion'".
