Chemistry With Ranbir ‘Very, Very Different’: Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone’s pairing with ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor is making headlines from quite some time. Adding fuel to the fire, several reports have compared the Tamasha Jodi with that of Bajirao Mastani, in which the Cocktail actress is paired opposite alleged boyfriend Ranveer Singh. In amidst of all the rumours, Deepika has finally spilled the beans about chemistry with former as well as current boyfriend.

The actress told DNA, “When it comes to Ranveer and me, whether it's Ram Leela or Bajirao Mastani, I think I have an amazing chemistry with both of them. But I think the type of chemistry is a little different with Ranveer and me. It's a little more raw, a little more sensual, whereas with Ranbir, I think it's very, very different”.

Saying that she shares a “different equation” with Ranbir, the Piku actress further explained, “The chemistry depends on the kind of work we do. What Ranbir and I shared in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani or what we share in Tamasha, it's a different kind of equation, a different kind of chemistry. People like to see us in certain types of movies”.

When asked who she is more comfortable with, Deepika said, “If you ask me, it depends on the film, it depends on the kind of characters we are playing. I am equally comfortable with both of them and I think both of them do equal justice to me when it comes to our on-screen pairing”. Ranbir-Deepika’s Tamasha is all set to hit the theatres on November 27 whereas Ranveer-Deepika’s Bajirao Mastani is slated to release on December 18.
