Chitrangada Singh To Play Sanjay Dutt's Leading Lady In ‘Torbaaz’

Sanjay Dutt's upcoming film ‘Torbaaz’ will revolve around children turning suicide bombers. Earlier, it has been reported that the Khalnayak actor will play an army officer in the Girish Malik directorial, which will be based in Afghanistan. The latest development about the flick is that B-town beauty Chitrangada Singh has been approached to play Sanjay’s leading lady.

As per Spotboye, the Jal director has confirmed that he and Chitrangada are good friends. It is for this reason the Inkaar actress might get seen playing the female lead in the flick. Malik also stated that an official announcement for ‘Torbaaz’ as well as another project he is looking after should come in nearly 15-20 days.

Touching upon the flick, Sanjay was earlier quoted as saying, “I am keen to be a part of films that are highly content driven. I want to create a memorable slate of films for my fans”. Well, Chitrangada and Sanjay have earlier worked in ‘Desi Boyz’ but haven’t paired up as of yet. So, Bollywood fans can expect to see a fresh pairing down the line.
