    Contrary to reports, makers clarify ‘Happy New Year’s trailer is not the longest’

    Making an intervention to all the rumoured talks about Happy New Year’s trailer being the longest in India, the makers have come in to clarify that it’s not true. Some reports suggested that Farah Khan directed film’s trailer had a length exceeding three minutes and ranged to be the longest theatrical promo for an Indian film.

    Amidst all of this, an insider from the production said “The news related to the trailer’s length is not true.” Even Shahrukh Khan later came out on Twitter and sarcastically tweeted regarding the same, “2day’s News HNY trailer is longest. Casting for Rohit film done. Now that somebody has done all my work for me, guess I can take the year off..” After a while when people started to spread the news of the trailer being the longest, SRK had to come in again where he tweeted “And reading some of the return tweets to my last one….seems sarcasm is lost on many. Ok back to more important things… have to clip my nails.”

    Now that the reports have been completely written off by the makers, the anxiety to watch the first look of the trailer has substantially gone up. The trailer however will release with Singham Returns next month. Let’s see what Farah and the Red Chillies team have in store for us. The film is scheduled to release on Diwali this year.
