Daisy Shah: One Should Be Open To All Kinds Of Roles

Known for her role in the movie Jai Ho, actress Daisy Shah recently revealed that Salman Khan convinced her to do Hate Story 3. She was Salman’s co-star in the film which was her first full-fledged role in Bollywood cinema. The 31-year-old shared what, or who, persuaded her to star in Hate Story 3.

Daisy talked about stepping into the erotic-thriller genre and said, “As an actor, one should be open to all kinds of roles. This is something I have pushed myself further with. This is not a safe zone but I wanted to try it and I did it”. She added, “I had taken a back seat but Salman was the one who really pushed me for the film... He said I should do this because the film is completely different from Jai Ho”.

Hate Story 3 is directed by Vishal Pandya and the cast includes Sharman Joshi, Karan Singh Grover and Zarine Khan. Zarine stated that she wasn’t sure if she wanted to star in the film but Vishal changed her mind. She said, “I was very skeptical in the beginning. But then I met Vishal and he narrated me the script. Over a period of time we became really good friends and I think he has great convincing powers. But yes, in the beginning I was a little skeptical.”
