Deepika Padukone celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi with parents

It’s family time for Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone these days. After shooting back to back for so many months postCocktail, now she is spending time with her parents and celebrating the festive season of Ganesh Chaturthi with them. A source close to her said, “Deepika has been extremely busy lately. She has been juggling three films —Ram Leelawith actor Ranveer Singh,Race 2with Saif Ali Khan,Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewaniwith Ranbir Kapoor andChennai Expresswith SRK. She was thinking of taking some time off to spend quality time with her family as it has been a while since she met them.” For this she called her parents from Bengaluru to Mumbai, so that she could spend some time with them post her shooting.

The source added, “Deepika’s parents believe a lot in Ganapati and love the way the festival is celebrated on such a large scale here in Mumbai. They were visiting variouspandalsto seek blessings from Lord Ganesha. They couldn’t have asked for anything more; they simply loved the whole festive spirit. Deepika is also happy that her mother and father are around and that she can spend every day with them thanks to Lord Ganesha.”
