Deepika Padukone In Rajkumar Santoshi’s Next?

Superstar Salman Khan has been finalised for Rajkumar Santoshi’s next directorial project. However, there is much speculation about which actress will essay the lead role. According to recent reports, Deepika Padukone might bag the role. However, Katrina Kaif was also considered for the role.

According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, a source said, “There is a lot of speculation surrounding the film’s leading lady. Ultimately, it will be Salman’s call on who’ll be the heroine. Santoshi has already suggested Deepika as his choice and she has been approached. Efforts are being made to get the pair on screen together”.

Salman had worked almost 22 years ago with Rajkumar Santoshi, when they gave 1990s comedy hit ‘Andaz Apna Apna’. Currently, the Piku actress is busy with her Hollywood debut with Vin Diesel and the Dabangg actor will soon be seen in the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial, ‘Sultan’. If the two talented actors come together, the audience might see a hot sizzling chemistry on screen.
