Deepika Padukone to act in Zanjeer remake?

Chennai, March 6 -- Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has been rumoured to be playing the part of Jaya Bachchan in megastar Amitabh Bachchan's first super-hi film Zanjeer opposite Telugu superstar Ram Charan Teja.A spokesperson of the actress said, "She has received many offers for south films. However, the only south film she has given a nod to is Kochadaiyaan opposite Rajinikanth. This month, Deepika will also start Ayan Mukherji's Jawaani Deewani with Ranbir Kapoor in Manali.'' According to reports, director Apoorva Lakhia is planning to make the film as a bilingual (Telugu and Hindi) by which Ram Charan is debuting in Hindi film industry.
