    Deepika Padukone Urges Women to Have Faith

    Deepika Padukone, who will portray a role of Peshwa's second wife in the forthcoming film ‘Bajirao Mastani’, has called women to have faith in them. The actress has also urged the ladies never to underestimate their capabilities. The call was made by the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actress during a chat over women empowerment on a radio station.

    The diva was also starred in a Vogue video, My Choice, which was an album over the women empowerment. TOI quoted her as saying, “I don't think we need a festival to celebrate womanhood”. She further said, “I believe that we need not look forward to Women's Day, Navratri or any other festival to celebrate what women are all about”.

    The Piku actress continued, "Women are multi-taskers, extremely strong emotionally and know what they are capable of. My message for every woman is that, we all should have faith in ourselves and should never underestimate our capabilities". She had previously come out in public about having a battled depression.
