The B-town heartthrob Ranveer Singh, who will be seen next in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram-Leela, has been undergoing treatment for dengue in a hospital since Friday last week. Recently his Ram-Leela co-star and unofficial real-life lover Deepika Padukone paid him a visit at the hospital after receiving a special permission from the hospital authorities.

Apparently Deepika is also not enjoying a healthy situation right now as she seriously got injured on the sets of Ram-Leela while shooting a sequence. While shooting for Gunday in a West Bengal suburb, Ranveer was suffering from high fever but didn’t miss the shooting to avoid any kind of loss to the production, his official spokesperson stated. Thereafter the actor underwent several tests in Mumbai and was diagnosed with dengue.

Ranveer, who is still in the ICU, is recovering slowly and expressed his thankfulness towards his fans and well-wishers who have supported him throughout. He also contacted his friends and fans via Twitter today. Recently he posted on his Twitter page, "Your love and blessings have helped me fight this illness. Thank you all for the warmth and wishes that helped me tide over my weakest hour.” A source close to the actor also said he is supposed to be discharged from the hospital later today.
