Deepika-Salman may first time come together for ‘Sultan’

After having worked with Shahrukh Khan in three films, something that Deepika Padukone kept missing out on was working with Salman. While there came a few opportunities but nothing could really substantiate. What now comes as a major delight to audiences is the two superstars could come together for Sultan.

After Anuhska quashed rumours of being offered the Yashraj project, it was Katrina Kaif who the makers shortlisted. Although, she doesn’t seem like being the preferred choice of most, a new face hence seems like coming in. If reports are to be believed, makers are pushing in for Deepika Padukone who herself is looking forward to working with Salman.  She was also considered for being a part of Shuddhi that also stars Salman Khan, but the project is nowhere close to be going on floors.

Sultan will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and the project might go on floors this year itself. We had earlier reported how Salman wants this film to be his Eid release for 2016. Let’s see if we’re in for a Deepika-Salman treat.
