Details Of How Zoya Akhtar And Ranveer Singh First Met Revealed!

Film-maker Zoya Akhtar has carved a niche of her own in the Bollywood industry. She entered Bollywood as a director with the critically acclaimed flick, Luck By Chance in 2009. For her last flick, Dil Dhadakne Do, the director and screen writer collaborated with Bollywood’s powerepack performer, Ranveer Singh.

And how the two talented people met, it was something worth listening. Remembering it, Zoya said, “The first time I saw him, he walked into a party at a friend’s house and he was in a checked pair of pants, a checked shirt and a checked cap and checked sneakers. And I didn’t know who he was and I was like, ‘What are you wearing? Are you really wearing this?’ and he lifted his shirt and there was sliver of his boxer shorts, that were checked and he said, ‘Check me out, babe.’ And it was love at first sight”!

Their first meeting was indeed a laughter riot. On the work front, Ranveer Singh is gearing up for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati. Talking about Zoya, she is busy with her upcoming flick Gully Boy.
