Indian film director Abhinay Deo whose recent direction was ‘Force 2’ has decided to do a sequel to his black comedy film ‘Delhi Belly’. Post his ‘Delhi Belly’, the director was offered 30-32 comedian scripts but he rejected all of them because he did not find anything challenging in the scripts. However, Abhinay Deo had been looking for something challenging until he came up with the idea of doing a sequel of ‘Delhi Belly’.

During an interview with Hindustan Times, Doe said, “I am dying to do a part two of Delhi Belly. It was a different film, and that’s why it worked. If the script is good enough for the sequel, I’d love to do it”. Speaking about working on a challenging script, the director added, “It’s a continuous process to invent yourself. Time moves really fast. The world is changing, so if you don’t challenge yourself, you won’t last long”.

‘Delhi Belly’, which starred Imran Khan, Vir Das and Kunaal Roy Kapur was released in 2011. The movie was a super hit and pooled a whooping 550 million in India by the end of the third week of its release. However, the fans are very delighted to witness the innovation and creativity of the director in ‘Delhi Belly’s’ sequel.
