Detective Byomkesh Bakshy is my best performance till date: Sushant Singh Rajput

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput who was last seen in Raj Kumar Hirani’s PK, says that he has given his best in his upcoming film Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! Based on fictional detective in Bengali literature, the film is touted to be a crime thriller.

Talking about the adventure flick, Sushant told IANS, "I don't know if it's the toughest film till date or not, but one thing I can assure you of is that in my area of acting in TV and films, I have never given so much to a film." He further added, "I've never approached a character like the way I've done in this film...Thanks to the script and thanks to the filmmaker I had in the film, Dibakar Banerjee...he is a genius."

Sushant hopes that his character in the movie will be appreciated by the movie-buffs. "One thing I assure you of this is my best performance till date. So, please come and watch the film. I'm so sure that all of you will like it," he said, while promoting his film which will hit the screens on April 3.
