Here's What Katrina Kaif Has To Say About Dropping Deepika Padukone From Aanand Rai’s Film With SRK?

There have always been rumours of a cold war between actors Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone, who have both dated actor Ranbir Kapoor in the past. However, in February this year, there were reports that the two would work together in filmmaker Aanand L Rai’s film that also features actor Shah Rukh Khan.

However, in April, there were reports that Katrina refused to work with Deepika and that actor Anushka Sharma will replace the latter. But, in an interview with DNA, when Katrina was asked about getting Deepika dropped from the film, she denied it.

“I don’t think any actor in today’s day and age is going around putting stipulations on their director. I am not comfortable talking about or having discussions on any film. I would rather like to give the directors their professional space to sort out or go through this process,” Katrina was quoted as saying.

She is also yet to officially confirm her presence in the film. “With every film, comes a speculative story announcement! That’s the one aspect of my life I never play around with because that is my work at the end of the day, and a place where one must behave in an absolutely professional manner and till the time it’s confirmed and signed, I don’t believe it’s right to discuss or talk about it. Every actor and director should have that comfort of being able to go through that process in a professional manner without added eyes on the project,” she said in the same interview.
