Guess Which Two Actors Were The First Choice For Lootera?

2013's critically acclaimed movie could have had a different star-cast.

Vidya Balan is a phenomenal actor and steps into the shoes of any character perfectly. Now imagine, what it would have been if 2013’s critically acclaimed flick, Lootera had Vidya Balan and John Abraham in it as the lead cast? If reports are to be believed, the Kahaani 2 actress was the original choice for Lootera. The critically acclaimed film would have been totally different with Vidya and John romancing elegantly.

In a recent interview, Vidya revealed, “In 2007 ‘Lootera’ came to me, John (Abraham) and I were supposed to do it. Then, we decided not to make it. Later, Vikramaditya Motwane went on to do Udaan, and we all went on to do other films. Then I heard that Ranveer and Sonakshi are doing it.”

She added that although she loved Sonakshi in the flick, but she wanted to be in the song Monta Re. We truly believe Vidya would have done justice to the role the way Sonakshi did.
