Dilip Kumar Rushed To Hospital After Complaining Swollen Leg

From past few days, veteran actor Dilip Kumar has been suffering from fever, cold and cough. His wife, Saira Banu, was about to take him for a routine check-up. However, before it could happen, a situation surfaced which landed the 93-year-old actor to Leelavati hospital in hush-bush on the night of Dec. 6.

According to reports, the Mughal-E-Azam star complained of pain and swelling in his right leg. This alarmed Saira who, without wasting even a minute, rushed to the hospital in suburban Bandra with her husband. Bombay Times quoted the Padosan actress as saying, “I was anyway planning to take him for a routine check-up, but the swelling alarmed me. He was also complaining of cold and cough. I don’t ignore anything even remotely suspicious when it comes to Dilip saab’s health”.

When Saira was asked about Dilip’s health, who will be turning 94 on December 11, she said, “He is doing fine...There is nothing to worry. His blood test was done this morning.  Doctors are examining him well. I hope and pray that he will be at home on his birthday”.

The much-in-love couple also recently celebrated their golden jubilee on October 10. Desimartini wishes them more years of togetherness and well-being.
