Diljit Dosanjh almost confirmed opposite Kareena in Udta Punjab

Punjabi singer and TV presenter Diljit Dosanjh seems to have won the race to bag a crucial role in Abhishek Chaubey’s Udta Punjab. The very role had become a subject of tussle after unsettling frames.

While Kareena showed Ayushmann Khurrana the ouster for the role, it was Fawad Khan next who was approached for the role. What now comes to clearing the picture is that even Fawad didn’t work out for the film and the makers are now eying Diljit as a possible replacement. The film is based in Punjab and he could be a good option for the role. The film also stars Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead.
