Disha Patani To Play M.S. Dhoni’s Late Ex-girlfriend In His Biopic?

The gossip mills are buzzing that newcomer Disha Patani has been roped in to play M.S. Dhoni’s late ex-girlfriend in his biopic. It is said that the model-turned actress has been trying to be a part of the film industry from quite some time and has loosen out on two big projects. One of them was Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi, which eventually went to Shraddha Kapoor.

Mid-Day quoted a source as saying, “He long hunt for another lead actress came to an end after Disha auditioned for it. We were looking for someone relatively new to the industry and she fits the bill”.  Another source was quoted as saying, “We are not allowed to reveal details about the role, but like everyone knows, Dhoni's life story wouldn't have been what it is without the influence of his ex-girlfriend, who is now no more. So, it will be an interesting part to watch out for”.

Sushant Singh Rajput will be seen playing the lead role in M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. Fugly fame Kiara Advani is essaying the role of Dhoni’s wife Sakshi. The film is being directed by Neeraj Pandey.
