The actor who became a household name as Sandhya in the show Diya Aur Baati Hum did not flaunt her baby bump and stayed off camera throughout her pregnancy and was often caught by the camera hiding her bump with colourful sarees. In the video, she is glowing with happiness while playing with a pair of minions slippons. She captioned the video saying, "Aren't these minion slippers too cute? I ended up doing this with it  Thank you so much @mangopeopleshop for such cute gifts." Talking about her pregnancy, the actress said to a leading daily, "I am so happy. It’s looking like a new life altogether. I’m taking very good care of my health and diet. Unlike earlier when I used to jump and run all the time, I walk cautiously and that is a good change. I feel a sense of responsibility. Whatever yoga and fitness I’ve done for all these years, it’s really helping me."

Deepika, who is currently on a maternity gap, completed her first trimester smoothly. In a couple of months, she will embrace motherhood. Deepika is definitely being missed on-screen but fans fret not, she might return to the sets of Tu Sooraj Mein Sanjh Piya Ki.
