Emraan Hashmi pays price of stardom, encounters stalker

Few days back, Shruti Haasan stumbled upon the pros of being famous when a stalker knocked at her door and pushed himself in and now Bollywood’s serial kisser Emraan Hashmi and his family is facing the same setback. Well, a stalker (woman) came at Hashmi’s door at 3 am and banged it with a shout and the whole thing ended when a security forcefully took the lady out of the building.

Emraan is shooting for his forthcoming flick titled Mr. X in South Africa when the incident took place. His wife is in Toronto for their son’s cancer treatment and only Emraan’s parents were at home in Mumbai. The staler woman shouted to talk to Hashmi and the incident lasted for 20 minutes. As per Mahesh Bhatt, the lady is mentally ustable, “The woman was seen loitering in the vicinity, she’s believed to be mentally unstable. I have told Emraan and his family to take this seriously and be careful. Stalking is the price of stardom. John Lennon had to take a bullet from an obsessive.” The 35-year-old is currently shooting for Hamari Adhuri Kahaani and Badtameez Dil besides Mr. X. The previous two are in pre-production stage.
