Check Out Farhan Akhtar's Rustic Look For His Upcoming Film, Lucknow Central!

The makers of Nikhil Advani’s next production, Lucknow Central have shared a new picture from the movie and Farhan Akhtar dons a completely new look. Shedding his urban, cool image, Farhan is seen in a rustic attire, holding his meal even as Punjabi star Gippy Grewal stares him down.

Gippy is currently enjoying the success of his latest Punjabi film Manje Bistre which is touted as the biggest Punjabi film at the box office.

Set against the backdrop of a jail, Lucknow Central stars Farhan Akhtar playing a prisoner who forms a band along with other jail inmates.

Bollywood actor Inaamul Haq, who was last seen in Akshay Kumar-starrer Airlift, will be playing the role of a prisoner-turned-musician in he film that also stars Diana Penty, Deepak Dobriyal, Rajesh Sharma and Ronit Roy.

The shooting of the film was wrapped on Monday.

Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Emmay Entertainment and Motion Pictures, the film is directed by Ranjit Tiwari who makes his debut with the film. He was earlier associate director for several films including Hero, D-Day and Katti Batti. The film will release on September 15.
