Floods postpone Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s Kashmir schedule

While the unit was all pumped up to wrap the final schedule of Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan, the recent Kashmir floods have wiped out their plans. According to sources, Kabir Khan and team are now examining the situation and have apparently put the shooting of this Salman-Kareena starrer on hold.

Floods postpone Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s Kashmir schedule

While 70 percent of film’s shooting is believed to have been wrapped up, the last and most crucial segment of the stage was set to be filmed in Kashmir. The unpredicted rains that made river Jhelum flow above the danger mark had affected some parts of Srinagar. Hoping to maintain a smooth run of shoot, Kabir’s best option was to probably wait and rework.

While the set schedule was expected to begin from April 9th and end by mid May, accommodating the film on its set release date will now take some more work. Bajrangi Bhaijaan has been confirmed as an Eid release this year and will arrive on July 16. This cross border love story is expected to create the same magic as Kabir-Salman’s last association Ek Tha Tiger had ignited.
