Friday battle between Dedh Ishqiya and Yaariyan

The two big movies clashing today are Madhuri Dixit and Naseeruddin Shah starrer Dedh Ishqiya and Yaariyan, which will introduce three new faces in the industry Himansh Kohli, Rakul Preet Singh and Serah Singh. The promotion of both the films is done very well and the songs have already topped the charts.

Madhuri has made a comeback in the lead role after a long break through Dedh Ishqiya, a sequel of Ishqiya. The film produced by Raman Maroo and Vishal Bhardwaj, is directed by Abhishek Chaubey. The flick is said to be worth a watch. The movie is a fusion of all those elements that are required to make a film hit like crime, passion and comedy. Huma Qureshi and Arshad Warsi will be seen in supporting roles. The movie has screenplay by Vishal Bhardwaj, Gulzar and Abhishek Chaubey, songs have been crooned by Vishal Bhardwaj.

Yaariyan, on the other hand, is a college-based romance adventure directed by Divya Khosla Kumar. This directorial debut of the filmmaker is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The movie revolves around five friends, who want to enjoy their college life. It will highlight the casual phases of their college life: problems, blunders, fun, friendship, relations. Dev Sharma and Nicole Faria will also be seen in pivotal roles. Various singers Pritam, Honey Singh, Anupam Amod and few more have sung songs in this venture.
