Gippy Grewal teams up with Badshah for Second Hand Husband, leaves Honey

We have heard that old friendships die hard but the idea seems to be losing its ground these days.  Actor-singer Gippy Grewal and rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh shared a very good bond since the days of ‘Angrezi Beat’, but their friendship has apparently lost its sheen. Recently, the popular Punjabi actor has signed singer-rapper Badshah to compose music for his Bollywood debut Second Hand Husband.

"I contacted Honey to collaborate on songs for my Bollywood debut. I kept trying to get in touch with him and his manager came to meet me. But I told the manager I had to meet Honey to work out the songs. That never happened”, the actor said.

Grewal also shared that he chose ‘Bad Boy’ out of a list of 50 numbers presented to him by Badshah as it had a fresh taste. The actor desires to band together with the Saturday Saturday singer for future Punjabi and Hindi projects. Second Hand Husband, slated for release on July 3, also features Tina Ahuja and Dharmendra.
