Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela touches 100 crore mark in 2 weeks

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padkone starrer Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, after facing too many controversies, has entered the 100 crore club. The film did a slow progress and made to the club after 14 days where other films are crossing this mark in just 4 to 5 days. With this, it becomes Deepika’s fourth film to do such a commendable business.

Based on Shakespeare’s drama Romeo and Juliet, Ram-Leela is a romantic feature film. The venture earlier titled Ram-Leela was changed to Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela after Delhi High Court’s order. It came into headlines right from the time of its shoot. The movie grossed a total of Rs. 100.2 crore and is still running in theatres. Directed, co-produced and scripted by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film stars Richa Chadda, Supriya Pathak, Homi Wadia and others in supporting roles. More films to reach the 100 crore club this year are Grand Masti, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Chennai Express and Krrish 3.
