Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2: Some people saw the film, and lit Twitter up

The first press screening for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 took place on Tuesday, and those in attendance - mostly film journalists - immediately jumped on Twitter to share their thoughts.

The reactions were mostly positive, with some even saying that the sequel improves upon the original by adding more humour, and taking more risks with the characters.

The film is the second in the Guardians of the Galaxy series, which will be followed by a third film, also written and directed by James Gunn.

The director confirmed the news, and also teased Marvel’s plans for the future of their series, in a Facebook post on Monday.

The film stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel as the titular Guardians and is scheduled for a May 5 release.
