Actor Gulshan Grover, who attained fame along with stardom due to his boorish role of Kesariya Vilayati in Subhash Ghai's ‘Ram Lakhan’ which embellished his ‘Bad Man’ image, has alleged that no other actor can play the prominent character better than him. The revelation came, when the veteran actor, known for playing numerous grey-shaded characters on films, was questioned about a plan of filmmaker Rohit Shetty to remake the1989 blockbuster. The star further talked about his upcoming web movie "Badman" during his visit to the IANS headquarter, as indicated by reports of TOI.

The source quoted him as stating, "That was the best character. Today that character Badman is turned into a web-film, 'Badman'. How fantastic I must be in that film". Grover further reported, "I don't think so there is anybody who can play my part. Nobody. That character had a lot of looks, a lot of certain kind of delivery".

He continued, "It was not tremendous acting histrionics in that. I don't think any actor has that ability to portray that character. Only one person can play 'Badman'. That is me". The artist also thinks that playing a villain is extremely a challenging task.
