‘Had A Lot Of Clashes’ With Salman During ‘Ek Tha Tiger’: Kabir Khan

‘Had A Lot Of Clashes’ With Salman During ‘Ek Tha Tiger’: Kabir Khan

Kabir Khan, who is keen on collaborating with Salman for the third time, has recently confessed that he had a lot of issues with Salman, while they were working on their first project together, which was ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. “We had a lot of clashes when we worked on 'Ek Tha Tiger' because both of us came from two different worlds. It's only towards the end of the film we started to understand each other and it resulted in the commercial success of the film”, said the director, who later worked with the actor in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which was touted to be Salman’s best film of his career so far.

Kabir Khan is now quite impressed by Salman and after spending quite some time with him, Kabir said that he has realised that Salman feels strongly for some issues such as secularism. The filmmaker further said that this quality led him to offer Bajrangi Bhaijaan to Salman. “Salman is a living example of secularism. When you go to his house and see the way he and his family lives, you'll come to the conclusion that there can't be a more secular person than him”.

Kabir continued, “Salman's secular feeling has never been articulated in the right way. He's a superstar and when he says millions will listen. Around this time, I was working on the story of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', and I felt he would fit the bill”.
