Happy 43rd birthday Karan Johar!

The multi talented personality of Bollywood, Karan Johar has turned 43 today. The producer, director, screenwriter, costume designer and also an actor, has given several successful films such as Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, My Name Is Khan and Student of the year. With a lot of successful films in his basket, Karan is taking Dharma Production to new heights under his leadership, after father Yash Johar.

Karan joined the industry as an Assistant Director to Aditya Chopra for Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge and since then has managed to be on the top. Mainly working as a director, producer in the film fraternity, Karan has also acted in DDLJ and Anurag Kashyap's recently released Bombay Velvet. Apart from this, he has given small cameo appearances in films such as Om Shanti Om, Fashion and Luck by Chance.

He has designed costumes for films that include Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Dil To Pagal Hai, Duplicate, Mohabbatein, Main Hoon Na, Veer-Zaara, and Om Shanti Om. Karan has also been a TV personality in the recent past. His talk show Koffee with Karan has completed 4 seasons. Besides, this he has judged dancing reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaaand and is currently judging India’s Got Talent. Karan’s next film (Shuddhi) that stars the Student of the Year Jodi, Alia Bhatt and Varun Kapoor is his dream project.
