Happy New Year is the ultimate Bollywood masala movie, says Shahrukh

In an event that had King Khan promoting the movie ‘Mad about Dance’, much hype was created only to know about his next Happy New Year. The actor revealed that the film is anything an Indian cinema lover would like.

Directed by Farah Khan, Happy New Year that also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Deepika Padukone in prominent roles is a heist film with all the glitter and glamour. SRK at the event expressed his views on the movie and said it’s a complete film fulfilling the requirements of Indian audience. He also emphasized on the fact that it has a substantial dominance of dance. Since Farah is an ace choreographer herself, this doesn’t come as a surprise. King Khan said, “I like the trailer of HNY.We are trying to create an evening of dance, music and glamour at the trailer launch. Our dream was to make a film that’s all about Bollywood. Obviously it is Farah Khan’s film but I feel so happy to be associated with it. Whenever I go abroad and meet people, there is a certain perception of Bollywood. It is all about song and dance. We have attempted to make a film that stands for everything Bollywood is symbolic of. From happiness to sensuality, it is all there. It’s an entertainer that will entertain. I believe in doing my best and leave the rest. We all have done our best. I am not nervous about it. I feel like a wedding planner right now preparing for trailer launch. Dahi Bhalle sahi bana hai ya nahi is my job.The beginning is all well so Inshallah the ending too will be good!”

After Kick’s enormous success, Happy New Year is pretty much expected to meet the same fate at the box office if not better. The trailer will be launched on August 14^th while the film has been scheduled to release on Diwali.
