Bollywood actor Harman Baweja, who is back into action after almost four years with Dishkiyaoon, visited the Capital to promote his film along with actress-producer Shilpa Shetty and director Sanamjit Singh Talwar. Clad in blue jeans, white t-shirt and a jacket the actor was quiet, thoughtful though confident enough about his selection of such a challenging role of a gangster.

Baweja is playing the character of Viki Kartoos in the film. He said about his character, "Viki does not speak like a typical Mumbai gangster like, aarela hai, jarela hai, kharcha-pani, etc. He is a well-educated, well-heeled and intelligent person.” "That is why, I did not speak to any gangsters and criminals for my research," he added jokingly. When asked about the long gap in his film career and his much-awaited comeback Baweja said, "My first few movies...well, they did not do very well at the box office. And when that happens, it takes a toll on you. I was going through a phase of introspection, I really wanted to take a long, hard look at my work. I had decided that I will take up roles that presented a real challenge. When Sanamjit narrated the script, I felt that it was going to be a huge challenge, and that is why I decided to go for it." Baweja was last seen in a leading role in What's Your Rashee in 2009 and he appeared in an almost unnoticeable cameo in Gori Tere Pyaar Mein last year. Dishkiyaoon, also starring Sunny Deol, Ayesha Khanna and Aditya Pancholi, is slated to hit the cinemas tomorrow, March 28.
