Harshvardhan Kapoor Feels He Needs To Be More Diplomatic!

Harshvardhan Kapoor was making headlines in the past few days and it was more limelight that he grabbed for his maiden Bollywood venture. Kapoor made his debut last year with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directorial Mirzya. The film bombed at the box-office but what miffed the star kid was the best male debut award being given to Diljit Dosanjh for Udta Punjab.

The star kid was annoyed with the Filmfare being given to Diljit Dosanjh for Udta Punjab in the best debut male category and tweeted that this is unfair as this was Diljit’s first Hindi movie but he has done many other Punjabi films too and is ineligible for the award.  Kapoor has now clarified his take on his tweets and said, “I have learnt much in the last few days. Firstly, that there is a time and place to say something. When you say something, you may not mean it in the way it is perceived. It’s like Chinese whispers. I say something, you publish something, and the person reading it perceives it differently. I have to be more diplomatic”.

He also added that he loved Udta Punjab and applauded Diljit for his performance but maintained that what he was trying to say was totally different from what it was perceived. Diljit won the best debut award for his first Bollywood film Udta Punjab which also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor. The film was commendable in terms of its story line or be it acting.
