Has Salman booked Eid 2016 with ‘Sultan’?

Eid as per the filmy calendar predominantly belongs to Salman Bhai. While he is all packed with Bajrangi Bhaijaan this year, industry gossips state that he might have booked Eid 2016 already. Salman who was in talks with Yashraj for a project titled ‘Sultan’ has apparently given his final nod and is pushing for a release on Eid next year.

According to sources, the actor was really fascinated with the script and is pretty pumped up for the film to go on floors. Sultan is reportedly a sports based film and Salman would want not want to miss it considering he hasn’t been a part of any athletic film in his career. However, he has a tough schedule to keep ahead. While he is just finishing up with Bajrangi Bhaijaan, he is also shooting for Rajshri’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Dharma Production’s Shuddhi also lies in prospect which is to be directed by Karan Malhotra. With all this in picture, to keep an Eid release in mind couldn’t really be confirmed.

The makers although are hoping they could start with the film sometime in September this year to stay ahead. The film will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar who last directed the rather forgettable Gunday. While Anushka Sharma recently at an event denied being approached for Sultan, let’s see who the makers pick as the female lead.
