Since its reveal, everybody has been grooving to the beats and the rhythm of Baar Baar Dekho's song 'Kala Chashma'. The video that was recently released showed Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra dancing to the song with Katrina stealing the show with her new slim and fit figure. While the song, in the film, has been sung by Badshah, Amar Arshi and Neha Kakkar, little do people know that the song was originally penned by Punjab Police head constable Amrik Singh Shera.

Shera wrote the song back in 1990 and is glad that it has become part of Bollywood. "Two months ago, I got a call from one of my friends that ‘Kala Chashma’ was being played on one of the channels. I don’t know how I felt. I was happy but also shocked about everything that was happening", he shared.

Shera also revealed that he had no idea the song would be featured in a movie as he was approached for allowing the use of the song for the inauguration of a Mumbai based cement company. He was given Rs. 11,000 only for the use of the song. Though this might seem disturbing, Shera is quite happy with the outcome and holds no ill-feelings for anyone. The only issue he has is that he wasn't invited to Mumbai for the audio launch where he could let people know that a person from a small village came up with such an epic song.
